Innova Early Music was founded in 2024 by Anna Breger (baroque violin/nyckelharpa) and Aleksandar Jovanovic (countertenor/composer). The ensemble collective’s projects deal with innovative performance concepts of early music, ranging from historical performance practice of rediscovered musical material to new interpretations and cross-over elements of modern sound aesthetics. The projects “Wiener Lieder des Hochbarock” and “Hildegard in the Forest” were performed several times in Austria and England in 2024, including at Altes Rathaus Vienna, Bockkeller/Wiener Volksliedwerk, Corpus Christi Chapel and West Road Concert Hall Cambridge.
